Whether you want to continue your education or jump into the workforce, STEPS will give you the jumpstart to becoming successful.
Certification Courses
ACC offers over 90 certification courses. Qualifying students who complete STEPS often go on to take a certification course in their area of interest. Students attend academic support while taking certification classes to provide tutoring and homework help.
Individualized Instruction
Individualized instruction is important to student success through STEPS. During the intake interview, students skills and interests are evaluated.

3. The Course Registration Process to select courses will begin after your Intake.
The Fall Semester Intake Deadline is August 14, 2026.
Ensure to start the process early!
June 17, 2026 - 7 P.M., June 24, 2026 at 7 P.M., July 8, 2026 at 7 P.M., July 22, 2026 at 7 P.M., and August 3, 2026 at 7 P.M.
*If funded by TWC, scholarship or waiver-- August option may be too late for processing.
